We are seeking a talented Contract Solutions Architect/Senior Systems Analyst to join our team at Lloyd's, and play a key role in reviewing our global IT estate.

As a Solutions Architect, you will examine and analyze existing IT systems and business models to identify requirements, and work closely with programmers, developers, testers, and end-users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. You will also map and document interfaces between legacy and new systems, and understand and document the global network, indicating where each of the applications and systems reside.

To succeed in this role, you will have proven work experience as a Solutions Architect or Systems Analyst, with a high level of technical expertise and broad knowledge of hardware, software, and programming. You should have excellent analytical skills, a methodical and investigative mindset, and a strong attention to detail. Additionally, you should have strong interpersonal and client-handling skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and explain technical details. Effective communication skills, including documentation and presentation skills, are a must, as is the ability to speak on behalf of and represent the community to large audiences both inside and outside of Lloyd's.

You will also need to have a positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work. Familiarity with the insurance industry would be desirable, as would relevant training and/or certifications in data management. An appreciation of data resilience and disaster recovery strategies, as well as system integration experience, including interface design, will also be necessary. Finally, you should have an understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models, as well as knowledge of complex, multi-domain, multi-network environments.
