ICT Teacher - Newcastle


The Education Network is currently working in partnership with a school based in North Tyneside in search of a ICT Teacher.

The full time role will commence
September 2024 and includesteaching Computer Science as well as IT and Business.

Experience of all subjects isn't required but the school is open to IT/Business teachers as well as Computer Science.

The role is fixed for the full year until
Summer 2025 with a high potential of being taken on permanently after.

NQT and ECT's are welcome to apply for this role.

In order to be successful in your application you must be confident and experienced in teaching IT at KS3-4.

Requirements for the role of ICT Teacher:

  • QTS or other UK recognised Teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching at KS3
  • A degree in a relevant subject.
  • Experience in the classroom
  • Have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students.
  • Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
