Assistant Management Accountant

We are currently seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our client in Windsor. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller to provide comprehensive financial reporting and analysis to the Business and the Senior Leadership Team. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and excel in a dynamic Finance Team environment.

  • Assist in creating monthly management accounts and reporting packs
  • Support in the year-end audit process
  • Analyze overhead costs
  • Conduct bank reconciliations
  • Handle balance sheet account analysis and reconciliation
  • Maintain asset register
  • Manage credit card reconciliation, accruals, and filings using Concur
  • Prepare and process G/L Journals
  • Raise credit notes
  • Establish new supplier accounts
  • Create and maintain the COA
  • Generate regular reports such as the daily sales and order graph
  • Undertake ad-hoc administrative duties

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • 2-3 years' experience in a finance role within a corporate setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Numerical proficiency
  • Confidence to work autonomously
  • Flexibility and willingness to support others
  • Desire for continuous learning and skill development
