As a Management Accountant at Kennedy Pearce Consulting, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information to support the production of management accounts and information provided to the business.

Key Duties
  1. Assist with the month-end close process through preparation of journals and analysis, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, sundry income, cash, and fixed assets.
  2. Support the completion of comprehensive analytical reviews and analysis of the P&L and balance sheet.
  3. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate resolution of reconciling items.
  4. Month-end reconciliations of intercompany balances.
  5. Monthly bank reconciliations and support to the treasury function as required.
  6. Complete cost centre reviews for the central functions and provide financial support and advice to the budget holders to ensure budgets and costs are being managed effectively.
  7. Support non-finance personnel where required on costing matters.
  8. Support the payroll manager when required.
  9. Assist with the external audit process.
  10. Input into the VAT/Tax submissions.
  11. Proactively determine opportunities to streamline and/or automate processes in SAP.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Qualified ACCA/CIMA with 2+ years' experience.
  2. Experience of SAP desirable.
  3. Exposure to data analytics/reporting tools (AI, Office Connect, Tableau) desirable.
  4. Advanced MS Excel skills.
  5. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and strong prioritisation/time management skills.
