Sheffield Crisis House Short-Term Stay: Our crisis house provides a safe and supportive environment for those in need of immediate assistance. We offer guidance and practical support to help you navigate through your crisis.

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. You will be working closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey.

Essential Skills and Experience Required

  • Transferable Life/Work Experience: You bring valuable experiences from your personal or professional life that can be applied to this role.
  • Listening and Empathy: You are a good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient, and willing to learn.
