Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to work within a Secondary School in St Helens. This would be an ideal opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to use the experience they have to flourish within a supportive school environment. Equally this role would appeal to a recently qualified T.A looking to gain experience in their first school.

The role will be working on a 1:1 basis with Children within KS3 and KS4. The children you will be supporting may be working at a level lower than expected.

You also have the opportunity to complete your Team Teach training too for this role on the next available course.

The ideal candidate for this role would be a capable and experienced Teaching Assistant that can respond proactively to requirements within in the classroom. A relevant teaching assistant qualification would be desirable. The candidate must be confident within the classroom and be able to identify where help is needed. You will need to be calm and positive when interacting with pupils.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Up to date DBS on update service
  • 2 professional references
  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK

This would be the ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to gain some more experience as a Teaching Assistant and who has a keen interest in teaching and working with Children.
