About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) class. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the class teacher to ensure that all learning and activities are inclusive and accessible for your pupil.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a pupil with SEN on a one-to-one basis, providing individualized attention and care.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Implement positive behavior strategies to encourage learning and behavior.
  • Meet the pupil at the school gate and escort them to their grown-up at the end of the day.
Requirements
  • Full 'Right to Work' in the UK.
  • Recent referenceable experience working with children and young people.
  • Previous experience working with SEN.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent supporting teaching and learning qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to commit to a long-term contract.
