Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in supporting students with complex needs in secondary schools across St Helens.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work with students with special educational needs and a willingness to learn and develop their skills in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored support to students with SEN and complex needs
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks as needed
  • Supporting students with their academic work and promoting their independence

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with students with SEN or complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting students with special educational needs
