Roles and Responsibilities

  • Author qualification test plans and test procedures; work with Test Engineering (TE) and Qualification Teams to define the test hardware requirements (TRD) and test environment, in line with industry mandated standards (e.g., DO160G)
  • Support decomposition of customer requirements at an aircraft level and align with the defined qualification strategy for the power system
  • Support Lean continuous process improvement activities such as PSR (problem solving report), Kaizen, 5S, etc. to rapidly resolve issues and continuously improve existing processes and strategies
  • Demonstrate proficiency with verbal and written English for technical reports, presentations, and analyses to both internal and external customers
  • Communicate effectively and proactively on progress and demonstrate ability to plan, estimate, prioritise and manage activities to meet the project schedule
  • Participate in certification compliance activities and design reviews

Qualification / Requirements:

  • Awareness of system design lifecycle within aerospace, automotive or similar high integrity system development environment, this could have been gained through a placement / internship, or, from direct work experience.
  • Awareness of target hardware and test equipment.
  • Awareness of industry mandated development standards, for example ARP4754A, DO160G
  • Ability to execute and solve problems autonomously.
  • A degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
