About this role:

As a member of the Visibility team in Customer Rewards you will be responsible for bringing new and exciting offers to our customer base, retaining their interest whilst encouraging new partners and products.

In this collaborative environment, you'll work closely with talented iOS, Android, Web and Quality engineers, located within the UK and the Netherlands. As a key team member, you'll lead high-impact initiatives crucial to the organisation's success. Your involvement spans the entire software development lifecycle, from liaising with product managers and UX designers to discussing solutions and enhancing our app module. This role also provides the opportunity to actively contribute to the vibrant engineering community at Just Eat Join us in shaping the future of our apps and advancing your career in this dynamic environment.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
  • Maintain, contribute-to and improve our common user interface library
  • Enhance and create programming standards that are required by modern-day apps
  • Collaborate with designers within your team to create and maintain a best in class design system
  • Work closely with other teams and technologies raise awareness of the processes and standards that you are creating
  • Lead and advocate for adoption and usage of the design system globally
  • Teach, share, influence & learn together with a company, a product team, a second family
  • Demonstrate your experience in developing interfaces that are both functional and attractive
What will you bring to the table?
  • Demonstrable experience developing native iOS Apps
  • Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, Async/Await, Actors
  • You are familiar with architectural patterns like MVP, MVVM, and MVC
  • Writing tests for your code is part of your definition of done
  • You grasp the importance of UX and design systems and the work you deliver is sustainable
  • Enterprise tools / CI Systems
  • You have an eye for detail but also understand when a more pragmatic approach is needed
  • You are proactive in sharing and seeking out information
