Role:

iOS Engineer

TSB Bank plc is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join our team. As an iOS Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Swift and iOS frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Bridge the gap between Lead Engineers, taking on more responsibilities and demonstrating proficiency in your domain.
  • Contribute to the success of software projects while continuing to grow and develop your skills and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an iOS Engineer (2+ years).
  • Good understanding of Swift and basic knowledge in Objective-C.
  • Good understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Animation, Core Data.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading (GCD, NSOperation), and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and how to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • General knowledge on how to write unit tests using XCTest.
  • Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
