CONSULTANT OBSTETRICIAN IN FETAL MEDICINE

Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a substantive Obstetric Consultant with a specialist interest in Fetal Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious team at our Birmingham Women's Hospital site which has 7,400 births per year. This is a newly established Consultant post and we are looking for someone who is Ambitious, Brave and Compassionate and with a commitment to continually improve our services, which have just been rated green by the CQC.
The postholders will be part of the Fetal medicine service, working closely with colleagues in the direct team and across the fetal medicine network.
The successful persons will be responsible for:
- Providing service and responsibility of fetal medicine clinics, pathways and working with the network
- Providing lead role for Obstetric Radiology
This post is advertised as full-time, however applicants wishing to be considered for a position with fewer sessions are welcome to apply. The post holders are required to have full registration with the General Medical Council & a valid licence to practice medicine at this level.
