About the Role

Spinner Medical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team in Rockhampton, Queensland. As a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our O&G services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical services of the highest standard, ensuring patient safety and efficiency
  • Teach and supervise trainees, medical colleagues, students, and nursing staff
  • Manage and develop O&G services, improving patient safety, clinical governance, and service planning
  • Provide care at other facilities as required, in line with clinical services available
Requirements
  • FRANZCOG qualification
  • Expert clinical skills in obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Commitment to improving quality, patient safety, and reducing risk
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to represent the department, hospital, and health service
  • Willingness to undertake CME activities and promote them to colleagues
  • Participation in teaching and supervision
  • Support for research and education opportunities
  • Evidence of vaccination against Covid-19, MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, Hep B
  • Driving licence
