About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Stroke Medicine to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Stroke Medicine and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

The Trust is a regional centre for cancer, trauma, burns and plastics, and has the largest solid organ transplantation programme in Europe.

As a Consultant in Stroke Medicine, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing specialist care to patients with acute stroke.

The post may include shared care of the stroke rehabilitation ward at Moseley Hall Hospital or work in the Acute Stroke Unit at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist care to patients with acute stroke
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing stroke services to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with other specialties to provide comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for GMC registration
  • Completion of specialist training in Stroke Medicine
  • Strong interest in Stroke Medicine and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
