The Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As the Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will work closely with the Head Chef to create and execute menus that reflect our commitment to culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including menu planning, inventory control, and staff training.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dishes that meet our premium dining standards.
  • Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to menu development with innovative ideas and seasonal ingredients.
  • Manage kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or pub setting.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
