Gordon Murray Group currently has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Management Accountant to join our production team based at our new facilities in Windlesham, Surrey.


Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the management and reporting of inventory, manufacturing costs, product margins and KPIs for the supercar programmes.


To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with manufacturing processes, have experience working in a manufacturing environment and have good communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders.

Principle Duties and

Responsibilities:
Maintain accuracy and validity of stock records for on and off-site stock

Management of working capital including reporting and forecasting

Work closely with Material Control and Procurement teams to build the forecasting and understanding around committed costs

Management of GRNI accuracy and monthly reporting

Bill of Material cost control and reporting variances

Management and reporting of direct costs, vehicle margins and operational efficiencies

Support in the develop of, and the reporting on, manufacturing budgets and targets

Continuous development the new ERP system to improve reporting and processes

Work closely with the Sales team to support the AR ledgers, including customer invoicing in-line with revenue recognition policies

Work closely with the After Sales team to facilitate and manage the cost of servicing and warranty claims

Build relationships with key suppliers to facilitate the 3 way match processes so payment terms are adhered to

Be a key contributor to the month end reporting cycles for Manufacturing KPIs

Be a key contributor to the annual budget and re-forecasting processes

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified

Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (automotive desirable)

Experience working with ERP systems and highly proficient in Excel

At ease working in an office/warehouse environment

Good understanding of supply chain procedures

Organised, persuasive, resourceful, flexible, ambitious, self-directing, passion for delivering objectives, comfortable challenging existing processes.

Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients

Must be a team player
