As a L'Oreal Customer Supply Chain Apprentice in our Indirect Channel your main role will be supporting the Customer Supply Chain Manager and Customer Supply Chain Executive as they work with our customers to increase product availability, reduce our cost to serve and increase customer satisfaction.

You will work directly with our customers and our commercial teams, learning how to deliver a best-in-class supply chain service whilst at the same time being supported on a 121 basis through our mentorship coaching programme, where you will receive expert on the job training throughout your entire apprenticeship journey.

You will spearhead your personal learning through our multiple learning platforms on a day-to-day basis.

You will have regular meetings with your Customer Supply Chain Manager who will support you on every step of your journey.

  • Learn how to provide an optimal level of supply chain service to all of our indirect customers, ensuring we fulfil their orders at the right cost to the business.
  • Learn the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy & knowledge.
  • Learn how to ensure that our customers are truly satisfied by ensuring their stock availability is as high as it can be, working with our distribution centre and planning teams as needed.
  • Learn how to drive departmental efficiencies identify & implement opportunities to improve our service to our customers
  • Learn how to drive our EU Satisfaction score and translate improvements into all your interactions with our customers and commercial teams.
  • Learn how to ensure you are always acting on customer feedback and supporting the continuous feedback loop.
  • Lean how to build great relationships with all of your stakeholders to be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail skills.
  • A can do attitude and willingness to go above & beyond for our customers in the service we provide.
  • Ability to work in an ever changing & demanding environment.
  • Strong prioritisation skills and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to challenge ways of working and seek out ways to continuously improve making ideas a reality.
  • Experience of using SAP would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Packages.
