Marks Sattin are working in partnership wih a global manufacturing organisation to recruit a Site Financial Controller for their site in the North Warwickshire region. The position is a site based role, so appliciants must be within a commutable distance from the site.

Reporting to the European Finance Director, the Site Finance Controller will be the Number 1 in Finance for the site and will play an integral role in the financial strategy and planning for the site. The Financial Controller will also ensure compliance in line Group policies and procedures.

The Site Financial Controller will be an experienced Finance Manager/Financial Controller with proven experience within a complex manufacturing organisation.

Responsibilities include:
Leading, coaching and developing the small finance function on site, and ensuring best practice and company policies are adhered to.Business Partnering with the Site Director, providing good strategic informationand insights.Challenging the status-quo (where necessary) to ensure better decision making and smooth running of the site in the most efficient and cost-effective way.Supporting the existing transformation programme along with other strategic projects.Ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and controls for the site, making improvements where necessary.Taking ownership of product costings on site, investigating any deviations from standard and coorecting where possible.Working as a key member of the SMT in the development of financial strategy and key projects within the siteOrganise and manage budgeting, forecasting, financial and management reportingOversee the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts including and exploring variances and detailed commentaryPreparation of monthly board packDelivering timely KPI reporting to the groupWorking with Central teams to streamline reporting solutions using ERP, Power BI & Excel solutions.Working with the wider Finance teams across all sites to deliver a high performing, consistent and insightful business function which is best in classManaging year end accounts, statutory returns and audit preparation ensuring compliance to IFRS/GAAPLiaise with banks, auditors and tax advisorsMaintaining robust internal controls and improving processes where necessaryBalance sheet and control account reconciliations, analysis and reviewLiaising with key stakeholders - supporting them with financial understanding & driving efficienciesDriving the implementation of global accounting policies and procedures, leveraging enabling technologies

To be considered, you will be:
A Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMAExperienced within a complex manufacturing environmentGood understanding of IFRS and local standardsInterpersonally strong with the ability to communicate at all levels across finance and non-finance teamsAn effective influencer with the ability to lead individuals to the best outcomesAble to motivate and drive individualsA proficient IT user and ERP userSomeone with a continuous improvement mindsetAble to work on-site full time
