A major Plastics company based in Tamworth are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their successful team for a permanent opportunity on days

Annual Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30 – 16:00

Key Accountabilities:
  • Ensure all Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality requirements are met and operations including training and non-training conform to legislative requirements.
  • Developing and delivering planned maintenance plans to plant and equipment.
  • Ensuring that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • Responsible for PPM
  • Running an efficient repair reporting system.
  • Purchasing and stock control of plant equipment spares and consumables
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
  • Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical and HVAC
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance systems
  • Positive approach to the working environment.
Desirables Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Proficient use with IT systems
  • Good / Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Awareness of modern maintenance techniques.
  • Strong team ethic with positive working attitudes
  • Work to Performance Measures
