It's an exciting moment to join us. We're building a top-notch design team over here, and there's a lot to do, including:

Making sure content design is a valued part of the design process, from start to finish.
Enhancing collaboration and communication within our product teams.
Using our creativity to showcase what content design is capable of.
Embedding accessible, inclusive, user-centered design into our standards and processes.

You'll be part of the new Stories and Ask Flo team (name TBC), where you'll be play a crucial role in supporting our extensive content domain and features in the app, as well as shaping the design and content strategy for this new product team.
As we grow, we need designers who can keep the business's priorities in focus while championing user needs, motivations and contexts – as well as bringing clarity and creativity to every touchpoint, and turning complex concepts into something simple and human.
Our ideal candidate:
Is an exceptional content designer with a keen interest in health technology, adept at adapting complex information to deliver intuitive solutions that solve real-world user problems.
Can flex as needed between different levels of work – one sprint you might be prototyping new products, crafting those end-to-end experiences, and the next, writing microcopy, or delivering workshops to engage stakeholders and define solutions to those tricky content, IA and narrative challenges.
Isn't afraid to propose solutions and new processes, challenging ways of working to contribute to the success of the wider design and product team.
Can explain and present hypotheses and decision-making processes.
Thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys tackling multiple initiatives at once.

Your Experience

Must have:
Significant content design experience (or experience in a similar role, such as information architecture, content strategy, UX writing, etc.)

Proficiency in collaborative tools like Figma and Miro.
Outstanding communication skills, capable of influencing others and advocating for content design at all levels.
A portfolio showcasing your impact in cross-functional teams.
Experience designing for mobile apps and handling regulated topics like health or finance.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for:
Crafting clear, concise, and compelling content for various features, widgets, paywalls, and more.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define new experiences across our platforms.
Advocating for content design within your teams and the broader product community.
Seeking opportunities for improvement and collaborating with other content disciplines and product streams.
Working with our partners in Localization to ensure messaging consistency across different markets.
Promoting human-centered design, readability, accessibility, and creativity.
Mentoring other Content Designers and contributing to our team culture of feedback and collaboration.
