Responsibilities:

  • Provide highquality care and support to adults with various needs, including behavioural support, mental health, nonverbal support and communication and learning difficulties.
  • Assist individuals with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, while promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Support clients in their daily activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of care provided, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential. We welcome applications from individuals with a genuine passion for supporting Children and Young People.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with service users and their families.
  • Empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature to provide emotional support to individuals facing various challenges.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic care environment.
  • Basic knowledge of using IT equipment, which is touch screen such as iPad, phones, having computer skills.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is essential.
  • Up to date medication, moving and manual handling training
  • Enhanced Adult and Child workforce DBS on the update service
