The role offers the opportunity to combine solving complex analytical problems to ensure client outcomes are fair and in line with good conduct, right from sharing of client order information to managing associated riskWe'll look to you to proactively drive the assessment and implementation of risk framework and policy compliance and changes, converting these into appropriate strategies and action plansIn this highly collaborative role, you'll have an ideal platform for building your network and advancing your career, while helping to create a safer environment for the bankWhat you'll do You'll review pricing provided via trading for Structure Products across both Rates and FX, as well as review execution strategies and pricing in line with the best execution obligations. We'll expect you to provide support across the team in technical activities and projects, such as automation of the best execution monitoring. Working with senior stakeholders across the bank, you'll look to drive forward the development and delivery of remedial action plans where identified risks are considered out of appetite. On top of this, you'll be supporting a culture of proactive and pre-emptive risk management and continuous improvement, and the attainment of operational risk objectives. You'll also be: Coaching and supporting colleagues across the bank to improve understanding and embed a proactive risk cultureAnalysing risk reporting and metrics used to inform decision makingEducating teams on the operational risk framework and our conduct risk obligations, supporting the business in operating and embedding themSupporting and regularly engaging with relevant stakeholders including second and third line of defence, and risk teamsEnsuring internal and external stakeholder satisfaction by delivering risk and control actions in a timely mannerThe skills you'll need To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a highly skilled leader with experience of applying risk and control management in an operational and strategic context. You'll also need excellent communication skills in order to lead the team, as well as being able to negotiate with, and influence, stakeholders across the bank. It'll be an advantage if you have experience with pricing models used for fixed income products and associated inputs such as market data necessary to evaluate best execution. In addition, experience of working in trading or using derivatives pricing models would be ideal. We'll also consider it beneficial if you have knowledge of the regulatory environment and the practical implementation thereof such as MiFID, COBS, CRD and similar. You'll also bring: Excellent problem solving and analytical skillsA strong mathematical background and understandingDetailed FX and/or Rates product knowledge, including Structured Products
