The University of Nottingham is recruiting a Continuing Education Officer to join our School of Health Sciences, one of the four Schools in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The School provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, sport rehabilitation, and allied health professionals. We aim to educate and nurture the best and brightest students to go on to transform the lives of individuals and communities locally, national, and international.

As Continuing Education Officer, you will work with a high degree of personal responsibility and initiative. You will play a pivotal role in developing processes to support the delivery of our post-registration learning whilst developing knowledge and expertise of the School of Health Sciences' portfolio of apprenticeship programmes. You will maintain and update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Teams pages, prepare data for reporting, support the delivery of assessments, training and clinical skills sessions, as well as lead on the organisation of online meetings and events. You will also support the costing and development of new apprenticeship business and work collaboratively with an established team.

The role also encompasses managing the day-to-day running of apprenticeship programmes, and you will work closely with students and apprentices at application stage and whilst on programme. As such, you will need excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, together with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

This is a permanent position available immediately. Hours of work are part-time hours per week).

£28,152 to £34,500 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
