We are CH&CO, we're proud to take a more thoughtful, mindful approach to the food experiences we source, prepare and present. We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to work with us. This position will be Monday to Friday and offers the flexibility to do 2 days a week in the office and the rest from home. The role reports directly to our Senior Finance Business Partner.

The purpose of the role is to support the commercial finance team with processing transactions, generating client bills and any ad hoc tasks to assist with month end.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• To undertake CH&CO specific training courses relevant to this role
The role reports to the Head of Commercial Finance and is part of the CH&Co Commercial finance team. The role will support all members of the team in creating accurate and timely management accounts, client bills and management information. The key to being successful in this role is an eye for detail and ensuring a commercial focus as well as ensuring accuracy in the information.

The individual will be interested in commencing their studies and have strong analytical skills. The individual is a good communicator and is prepared to manage a range of different stakeholders.


• Ad hoc analysis to support Finance team with client requirements.

• Assisting balance sheet reconciliations.

• Raising invoices and credit notes in line with business requirements and approval process (avg. 170 per month)

• Assisting with month end close in line with business requirements.

• Reviewing units book work for accuracy and following up on queries as required.

• Updating and posting monthly fixed journals.

• Reviewing and updating contracts data files.

• Assisting Finance Business Partner & Senior Finance Business Partner with adhoc tasks.

• Maintaining KPI reports to ensure fit for purpose. What's in it for you?
