Tower Cold Chain supports the global pharmaceutical and life science industries delivering lifesaving temperature controlled shipments.

Our uniquely innovative containers maintain the cold chain, preventing shipments being spoiled or delayed, and delivering temperature sensitive products to patients on time and to help save lives.

Main purpose of the role


With support, to undertake day-to-day accounting functions of the business and provide accurate, up-dated, timely records and end to end AR processing.

Key Tasks

  • Receivable Ledger for all entities (currently 7 & increasing)
  • Raise adhoc sale invoices and credit notes in finance system
  • Sales Invoice entry in multicurrency
  • Ensure that global VAT codes have been entered correctly into the finance system
  • Process customer receipts
  • Validate customer remittances
  • Credit control, dealing with overdue balance and send customer statements. Liaise with customer to resolve any discrepancies with the CS team assistance
  • Resolve any sales team queries
  • New Customer applications; setting up in finance system and operating system completing third party vendor forms
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Maintain the platform (invoice manual upload), credit limit and month end reconciliations with factoring company
Month End for all entities

  • Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations; Debtors Ledger
  • Prepare monthly debtor reports to sales team for their follow up with customers on inexplicably delayed payments
  • Assist in year end processes
Ad-Hoc

  • Provide reports to support all departments and business requirements
  • Support the Management Accountant
  • Knowledge of the finance system; nominal codes, software updates
  • Assist in the finance system and maintain the finance department procedures
  • Take initiative of finance processes within the company

Working knowledge of Microsoft (365) package, ie Outlook, Word, Excel and OneDrive

A minimum of grade A to C (9 to 4) in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
