We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a VAT Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial compliance of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns to HMRC

  • Assisting in the training of staff on VAT matters and ensuring that all employees are aware of their financial responsibilities

Requirements

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Working towards a professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in VAT accounting and a strong understanding of VAT legislation and regulations
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments and stakeholders
