Overview of Role
An informed and impartial perspective to help our clients reach their goals through the design and execution of strategic M&A and financing solutions in the infrastructure space.
We provide impartial, expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations, private equity, families and entrepreneurs, and governments. We design and execute strategic M&A and financing solutions for our clients and act as a trusted partner, taking a long-term and independent view on the challenges they face.
Our deep understanding of financial markets, the high volume of transactions we advise on, and our unrivalled network of industry and financing specialists in 40 countries, provide clients with a comprehensive perspective to achieve their strategic goals. Our distinct perspective allows us to achieve outstanding results for our clients and act as their most trusted advisers over the long term.
Responsibilities
Work on multiple transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions, ranging from client development and initial opportunity evaluation to transaction strategy and execution, for both M&A and financing advisory mandatesLead teams in the preparation of financial and economic analyses and computer models required for evaluating and completing such transactions, as well as client presentations, information memoranda and offering documentsExperienced banker who seeks to identify new business opportunities for Rothschild & Co Global Advisory and new ideas for our clients that advance their strategic objective
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
Minimum 4-year experience in the infrastructure or energy & power sectorPrior experience from an investment banking role at an advisory firm or from a financing role at a balance sheet bankProven quantitative and analytical skills to develop financial models and valuations with a deep understanding of financial statement analysisProven understanding of infrastructure-like financing products and capital structuresAbility to provide direction and leadership in order to build a strong team environment and to build effective relationships between individuals, teams and lines of business, across different geographiesAbility to build long-term, professional relationships that add value to the client and lead to the expansion of the businessExperience leading client presentations, managing projects and the execution of transactionsAbility to simultaneously manage several projects in an extremely fast paced environment in order to meet critical deadlinesKnowledge of the relevant financial and regulatory environments that surrounds M&AAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
