The Disrepair Team in Property Services are looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. The focus will be on high-quality work, outstanding customer service and a right-first-time attitude.
Our Operatives are supplied with an L&Q van (business use only), uniform and PPE equipment. You will begin the day from your home address where you will travel to jobs which are distributed to your PDA (hand-held device).
We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of a building and/or housing environment. Who can deliver excellent customer service to our residents.
You will be able to use a PDA (hand-held device) and on occasion a computer
The job will entail the repair and replacement of baths, sinks, toilets, water tanks, wash basins and pipework. Wall and floor tiling.
Carpentry repairs, such as fitting fire doors and internal doors, fitting worktops and kitchen units, fitting door frames, timber joist repairs and timber stud work repairs, fitting skirtings and architraves, sash cords and associated repairs to sash windows, Casement window repairs including hinge and handle renewals, renewal of sealed units to all timber and upvc windows and doors.
Plastering patch repairs, bond and set, plasterboard, minor finishing, and rendering
