KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERTISE
- Experience of managing monthly and hourly payroll of the above size.
- Payroll systems experience - SuccessFactors & SAP desirable.
- Strong knowledge of UK tax rules and Pensions obligations.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate or higher
- Strong analytical skills including intermediate Excel.
- Good written communication skills.
- Collaborative approach - able to develop close working relationships with all teams, departments, managers and colleagues.
- Resilience.
- Strong Time Management skills & ability to manage priorities autonomously.
- Desire to learn.
The Payroll Manager will be working on projects and will be able to provide training and guidance, but you will work independently and take ownership for closing the payroll.
The payroll function is responsible for monitoring the accuracy of data in the time and attendance system and ensuring the accurate transfer to time to the HR system.
Coming to us with a wealth of payroll experience up to supervisory level, you will have an expert understanding of payroll principles relating to the calculation of up to gross and gross to net.
- Full responsibility for the running of the UK payroll
- Administration of pension schemes
- Systems- T&A, HR & Payroll
