A fantastic Primary School in the Borough of Brent are looking to recruit an SEMH Teaching Assistant - Unqualified. The role of SEMH Teaching Assistant - Unqualified is a full time and long-term role, for a September 2024 start, perfect for university graduates

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant - Unqualified, you will be working with Primary School children, with a range of SEMH needs. As an SEMH Teaching Assistant - Unqualified, you will be supporting children who have been diagnosed with Autism / ASD, ADHD, children with SEMH and children with behavioural difficulties.

This opportunity is the ideal role for a graduate looking for experience to support their future career working with children. This SEMH Teaching Assistant - Unqualified position would be perfect for Psychology graduates (or similar graduates) seeking a full time SEMH Teaching Assistant - Unqualified role, supporting children with a range of SEMH and SEN needs.

  • Full Time & Long Term - Monday to Friday, school hours - No Weekends

Person Specification - SEMH Teaching Assistant - Unqualified

  • Must have a good degree from a reputable University
  • Good understanding of SEN is required
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEN
  • You must be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Calm and compassionate nature
