SEMH Teaching Assistant Position

Key Responsibilities of the SEMH Teaching Assistant

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons
  • Assisting students with SEND/SEMH requirements on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
  • Working closely with non-verbal students to facilitate their learning
  • Providing support to pupils during lessons and outside of the classroom
  • Tracking and documenting the progress of interventions
