Project Manager required. Our client is a leading provider of industrial automation technologies and services to the UK and Ireland markets. They are now looking for a Project Manager due to the growth of the business. These projects will run in the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Pharmaceutical sectors.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the planning and execution of projects. Their duties include planning, setting strategies, executing, and monitoring every aspect of a specific project. This will be for multiple projects from Southampton to Scotland and in-between.

Candidates will be knowledgeable on every aspect of the project lifecycle experienced in initiating projects, planning, delegating, managing and risk mitigating.

Project Manager Position Overview
  • Meeting with senior management and clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
  • Communicating with team members
  • Identifying risks and taking measures to prevent delays and budgetary constraints.
  • Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience, and strengths of staff members.
  • Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery.
  • Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders
  • Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
  • Developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
  • Managing day-to-day operations of the project
  • Working with Designers, Developers, Quality H&S and Procurement and other stakeholders for planning and documentation.
Project Manager Position Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role (engineering or IT field)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (APM etc) in project management or industry specific.
  • Proficiency in inventory control and process improvement
  • Working knowledge of relevant applications. E.g., Primavera P6 and FastDraft
  • Proficiency in NEC 4 - preferable under Option A and C and E
  • Excellent working knowledge with either PMBOK or PRINCE 2 and CDM15 roles of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer Roles.
  • Woking knowledge of NGT Policies Procedures and Specifications. Typically, Business Procedures, Quality Assurance, Environmental, Health and Safety.
Project Manager Position Remuneration
  • Salary: 60, ,000
  • Working hours: 37 hours a week 8:30- 5pm and half an hour early finish on Friday
  • Holiday Package: 25 days + 8BH
  • Bonuses (up to 20%)
  • Car allowance of 7,500
  • Pension
