Role Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor at Engenda Group, you will play a crucial role in managing the costs and contracts associated with our projects. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting budget preparation and cost control for projects.
  • Evaluating and managing variations, claims, and change orders.
  • Providing accurate and timely financial reporting to project stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure commercial success and adherence to project goals.
  • Monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks or opportunities for cost savings.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as MS Excel, cost estimating software, and project management systems.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable but not essential.
