Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Engenda Group, a leading engineering and construction company. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the costs and contracts associated with our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough budget preparation and cost control for projects, ensuring that projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
- Evaluate and manage variations, claims, and change orders, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure commercial success and adherence to project goals.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks or opportunities for cost savings, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as MS Excel, cost estimating software, and project management systems.
- Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable but not essential.
