Hourly Pay Rate:

Our client, an established engineering company based in Coleford, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and organisational skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience working with international shipments and custom regulations is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Booking couriers for both domestic and international shipments, including liaising with courier services such as TNT and DHL.
  • Managing the arrangement of local deliveries with transport agencies.
  • Coordinating with internal teams through email communication to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Collaborating with packing staff and stores to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of goods.
  • Undertaking general administrative duties related to logistics and providing support where necessary.
  • Demonstrating meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy of records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Good IT skills, including knowledge of SAP (beneficial).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience in logistics administration is required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
