We have a supportive, friendly, and dynamic working environment and we are looking for experienced advisors to join our new team supporting students who may have additional needs due to their personal and/or practical circumstances and those who disclose experiencing unacceptable behaviour, including bullying, discrimination, hate incident/crime, and sexual misconduct.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new area of Information, Advice and Participation Services, delivering holistic and empathetic support to our diverse student population; raising awareness of services available; and providing outreach and education on a number of student services areas, using a student-focused and trauma-informed approach that puts diversity and inclusion at its core and strives for continuous improvement.

You will have substantial experience of supporting individuals in a confidential setting; an in depth understanding of a diverse population of service users and of working with those who have experienced unacceptable behaviour. You will have worked with and understand risk and needs assessments; experience of managing confidential casework as well as your own workload without constant supervision; and of working collaboratively in a team environment. You will be able to write clearly and concisely; have excellent IT skills; be highly literate and numerate; and have experience of project management.
