THE ROLE
There is an exciting opportunity within Large Loss Property opportunity for a Senior Claims Technician. As a Senior Claims Technician, you'll be responsible for handling complex Property claims, such as fires or floods

What you'll be doing:
Pro-active management of a portfolio of claims with a potential of £500K+ from notification through to settlement

Delivering excellent customer service whilst maintaining accurate estimating and controlling indemnity spend

Sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of others in your team and in the wider claims community. Building excellent working relationships with Loss Adjusters and other suppliers

Regular communication with policyholders and their representatives and underwriting colleagues

What we're looking for:
You will have extensive experience in handling high value and complex commercial property claims, with a settlement of at least £500k

You will be educated to A-Level or degree standard, or have an equivalent professional qualification (ACII/FCII/CILA)

An inspiring leader with empathy and flexibility of approach to achieve effective outcomes

Able to deliver exceptional service to your customers

Developed communication and interpersonal skills and influencing and negotiating skills

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom
