The HR Apprentice role (internally known as People and OD Associate) is not just a job, but an opportunity to be an integral part of our team. You will gain hands-on experience in various people functions and support the People and Organisational Development team in day-to-day operations, contributing significantly to the department's overall success.

You will support colleagues and managers with general people enquiries while acting as key administrator on the People system, ensuring accurate people information is collected to inform decision-making.

As part of your role, you will have the unique opportunity to complete the CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice (Level 3 Apprenticeship). This highly sought-after qualification will not only bolster your knowledge but also pave the way for a successful career in people functions.

  • Please note this is a part time role (20h per week + unpaid break each working day) paying £14,040 per annum, the equivalent of £13.50 per hour
  • We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid schedules, however, regular presence in the office will be required.

About You

As a successful HR apprentice, you should possess a blend of soft skills and a strong willingness to learn. Essential qualities include enthusiasm and strong communication skills, as HR involves a lot of interaction with colleagues across the organisation.

Being teachable and adaptable is crucial, as the HR field constantly evolves with new laws and best practices. Additionally, a humble and selfless attitude helps build trust and rapport.
