Henderson Drake is delighted to partner with a dynamic and innovative financial software company at the forefront of financial technology, to find an exceptional Excel Financial Modelling Specialist. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. You will be trained to model within a specialist finance software, Vena, to provide solutions to the firm's clients.

Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Conduct thorough data analysis to provide insights and recommendations for financial performance improvements.Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and sales, to gather necessary data and ensure accurate financial modelling.Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices in financial modelling.Utilise Excel and other financial software tools to create efficient and effective financial models.

Qualifications / Skills:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial modelling for planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, v-look up's, pivot tables, and macros. Being able to write Macros in VBA is desirable but not essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Experience with financial modelling software is highly desirable.Experience using Vena software preferred, but not essential as training support is provided on the Vena software solution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial modelling and reporting.

This is a permanent, full-time hybrid working role (3 days in London office, 2 days remote)
