Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Modelling Manager to support our client's internal teams and business development for strategic tenders and M&A projects.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in producing financial models and detailed bottom-up builds of the business, collaborating closely with multiple departments, and presenting findings to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic tenders and M&A projects.
  • Conduct detailed bottom-up builds of the business from scratch to provide accurate financial forecasts.
  • Work closely with finance, business development, legal, and structured finance departments to gather necessary data and insights.
  • Provide expert-level option analysis and advise on financial risks, opportunities, and potential impacts of various business strategies.
  • Present complex financial information to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support the Head of Financial Modelling in enhancing the financial modelling framework and incorporating best practices.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial modelling and analysis, preferably within the transport sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in M&A, corporate finance, and capital markets.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other financial modelling tools; knowledge of Power BI and/or VBA is a plus.
  • Ability to manage high-stakes projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of supporting ad hoc finance/strategic projects as they arise.
