Position: Family Law Solicitor

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE


We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Solicitor with a minimum of five years' post-qualifying experience. You will manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, providing high-quality, timely services to clients. Your role will involve client-facing responsibilities and contributing to the growth of our Family Law Department. This position offers significant opportunities for career advancement.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload within the Family Law Department.
  • Deliver accurate and professional advice to clients.
  • Promote the firm's services and contribute to business development.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the ethical code for Scottish solicitors.
  • Dress and groom appropriately for a professional environment.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Specialisation in Family Law with relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Internet, basic Excel, and email.
  • Knowledge of Sheriff Court procedures; familiarity with Court of Session procedures is a plus.
  • Valid driving license.
