Governance & Assurance Consultant / Senior PMO Analyst

Are you an experienced PMO professional with a passion for governance and assurance within the Defence sector? We are seeking a skilled Governance & Assurance Consultant / Senior PMO Analyst to join our team on a remote basis. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of demand and capacity management processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting key business transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Development: Define and document demand and portfolio management processes to Level 2 detail, including work instructions within the EIT Business Management System (BMS).
  • Change Implementation: Produce and execute comprehensive plans for implementing change, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Governance & Reporting: Define and establish governance processes, including meeting cadence, prioritisation, and communication protocols. Own weekly reporting and manage the project plan effectively.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the ServiceNow (SNOW) team to ensure the technology requirements for demand management are understood, monitored, and met. Participate in SNOW workshops as required.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Produce high-quality documentation, including guidance documents, RACI matrices, and detailed process maps, ensuring all materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with governance standards.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Plan and run workshops to capture and analyze processes, leading to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with the change management team to develop training materials and support the organisation's understanding of new processes and tools.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • PMO Expertise: Deep understanding of PMO functions, their roles, and operations within large organisations, specifically in the Defence sector.
  • Process & Demand Management: Proven experience in managing or supporting the improvement of demand and capacity management processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SharePoint for team collaboration and documentation. Experience with ServiceNow is essential.
  • Project Delivery: Comprehensive understanding of project delivery processes and lifecycle, with a track record of producing high-quality documentation.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised, with the ability to produce detailed process maps, work instructions, and manage complex projects.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to plan and execute workshops, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
