Carbon60 are working with a very well-known global airline, who are searching for a highly-experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect to join them on an initial 6-month contract.
Job Overview
The role will involve you owning the technical execution of the Now Platform Strategy and providing technical thought leadership on how to realise value from the Now Platform.
Working alongside the ServiceNow Solution Architect, you will have an excellent all-round understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities, ensuring that everyone is following best practices and governance.
You will be a key advisor to the Solution Architect, confirming what can and cannot be built, what the configuration should be, and ensuring that planned additions won't break what is already in place.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for the environmental and platform health of the Now Platform.
- Provide technical evaluation of demands against the Now platform architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices.
- Identify and assure that all technical solutions will realise the intended business outcomes.
- Evangelise and educate on how the Now platform can be leveraged and optimised.
- Act as the “go to” SME for all functional and technical aspects of the Now Platform.
- Identify opportunities for technical capabilities in the toolkit to add competitive and operational advantage to the airline and drive best practice use.
- Responsible for the airline's Now Platform technical health covering all aspects; upgradability, performance, manageability, security, and useability.
- Responsible for ensuring the platform meets security and compliance requirements.
- Responsible for the effectiveness of the technical governance of the platform, ensuring performance is optimised and technical debt is minimised.
- Responsible for the configuration and coding standards and provide assurance over adherence to the standards.
- Act as a coach to improve understanding of the capabilities of the Now Platform and how to best use, with the aim that all relevant process owners and process operators perform their roles, best leveraging the platform.
Required Skills/Experience
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- ITIL V4 Foundation.
- Proven track record with ServiceNow and able to demonstrate an expert level of technical and functional knowledge of the Now Platform across the ITSM, ITAM, and ITOM Product Lines.
- Proven track record of implementations and successful adoption of ServiceNow, including Cloud.
- Proven track record of helping an organisation to achieve Experience Accelerator (XaC) using the NOW platform as the central hub in an integrated tool chain.
- Experience in an enterprise environment with multiple integration points.
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss, and disseminate technical concepts in a business language to multiple audiences.
Contract Specifics
- Contract Length: 6-months, with potential of extension(s).
- Start Date: ASAP - September/October 2024.
- Pay Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35).
- Office Location: Hounslow, West London.
- Office/Home Working Flex: 1 day per week in the office required.
