Main purpose of the role:


  • To provide 1st and 2nd line helpdesk support to clients, assisting them with hardware and software problems via phone, email & remotely.
  • To assist with client IT projects working as part of a team and independently.


What kind of person are we looking for?


Someone who can…


  • Provide 1st/2nd line technical support, including resolving queries via phone, email, and remotely while managing tickets on the Autotask Service Desk system.
  • Document IT infrastructure, including network topology, hardware, software, firewalls, and backups, and conduct audits and license management.
  • Manage application deployment, corporate antivirus/firewall solutions, and patch management for desktops and servers.
  • Perform system administration and project work for clients, individually or as part of a team, while identifying opportunities to improve and secure infrastructure.
  • Share knowledge within the team to enhance technical expertise and client understanding.

Technical skills & attributes desired:


  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access, MDM, backup technologies, and cloud services like SharePoint/OneDrive.
  • Proficiency in networking (WAN/LAN), firewalls, VPN solutions, and hardware support, with knowledge of virtual desktop/server technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix).
  • Skilled in Office 365 migrations, installations, and support, with MSP experience supporting diverse clients and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with a service-driven, proactive approach and a commitment to ongoing learning.
