Summary
We are looking for researchers (scholarly authors) to contribute publications to the thematic issue titled, ”Deep Learning for Advancing Alzheimer's Disease Research", to be published in Current Alzheimer Research. If you have published cited research in Neuroscience and Alzheimer’s Disease, this opportunity might be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on assigned themes, contributing valuable review / research articles to the thematic issue.
- Synthesize relevant literature to identify research gaps and build upon current knowledge.
- Generate innovative ideas and theories to advance understanding within the chosen thematic area.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards in research and address conflicts of interest.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Neurology, use of Artificial Intelligence in Neuroscience, and related fields of research will be preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Awareness of ethical research practices.
About this Thematic Issue: Deep Learning for Advancing Alzheimer's Disease Research
Alzheimer's disease (AD) poses a significant global health challenge, with an increasing number of individuals affected yearly. Deep learning, a subfield of artificial intelligence, has shown immense potential in various domains, including healthcare. This thematic issue of Current Alzheimer Research explores the application of deep learning techniques in advancing our understanding of AD, enabling early diagnosis, predicting disease progression, and developing innovative therapeutic interventions. Authors are invited to submit their original research or review articles following the submission guidelines of Current Alzheimer Research.
All submitted papers will undergo a thorough peer-review process to ensure high scientific quality and relevance to the theme of this thematic issue. Join us in this thematic issue to contribute to the exciting intersection of deep learning and Alzheimer's disease research. Together, we can pave the way for innovative solutions that advance our understanding of AD and improve patient care.
About Current Alzheimer Research:
Current Alzheimer Research publishes peer-reviewed frontier review, research, drug clinical trial studies, letter articles, case reports, systematic reviews, and editorials on all areas of Alzheimer's disease. This multidisciplinary journal will help in understanding the neurobiology, genetics, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment strategies of Alzheimer's disease. The journal publishes objective reviews written by experts and leaders actively engaged in research using cellular, molecular, and animal models. The journal also covers original articles on recent research in fast emerging areas of molecular diagnostics, brain imaging, drug development and discovery, and clinical aspects of Alzheimer's disease. Manuscripts are encouraged that relate to the synergistic mechanism of Alzheimer's disease with other dementia and neurodegenerative disorders. Book reviews, meeting reports and letters-to-the-editor are also published. The journal is essential reading for researchers, educators and physicians with interest in age-related dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Current Alzheimer Research provides a comprehensive 'bird's-eye view' of the current state of Alzheimer's research for neuroscientists, clinicians, health science planners, granting, caregivers and families of this devastating disease.
This journal is indexed in Scopus, PubMed/Medline, Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate), etc. It has a JCR Impact Factor of 2.1.
