About the Role

Vagabond Digital is looking for a Senior Organic Social Executive to take the lead on exciting projects. This is a unique opportunity to work on big-name brands, bringing a fresh and entertaining social-first approach. In this role, you'll be reporting to our Organic Social Manager and will be responsible for content strategy, ideation, production, and performance analysis across social channels (particularly TikTok). A key part of the strategy will be user generated and employee-generated content, meaning you'll be out in the field, filming and directing engaging video content that speaks directly to the brand's audience. You'll be at the forefront of developing a social media presence that's bold, highly shareable, and culturally relevant, helping to push the brand ahead of its competitors. If you love creating scroll-stopping video content, spotting trends before they blow up, and working on a fast-paced account with huge creative potential, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Leading content strategy and creative ideation tailored to your assigned client's audience. Collaborating with internal and client-side teams to ensure smooth execution of the social strategy and hosting creative ideation workshops.
  • Keeping your finger on the pulse of trending topics, formats, and industry conversations aligned with your assigned client's audience to keep content fresh.
  • Producing highly engaging short-form video content (from scripting to filming to editing) in a variety of formats including producing employee-generated content (EGC), and featuring in content yourself from product-focused UGC to hosting street interviews.
  • Running on-site client shoots, collaborating with colleagues to capture authentic, humorous, and engaging EGC along with training and guiding staff client-side, empowering them to feel comfortable and confident on camera.
  • Analysing content performance and using insights to continuously refine and optimise the approach.
  • Supporting the Social Media Manager and wider agency staff on other social clients along with supporting on pitches to win new business for the agency.

Qualifications

Manchester-based or able to travel frequently when required.

3+ years experience in a fast-paced social media role.

A strong understanding of social media platforms with experience creating native content for them.

Hands-on experience with filming and editing video content for social media.

A passion for social trends, internet culture, and viral content - you know what works and why.

A creative thinker who is enthusiastic and imaginative with the ability to refine bold ideas into actionable social strategies.

The ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and confidently lead content shoots.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a flair for organisation and efficiency.
