Location: 2 days in the office - Cheshire and 3 days from home

Salary: Up to £47k plus excellent benefits

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday


Overview of role:


  • Supporting your clients by providing legally compliant advice and guidance
  • Sending your clients supporting information and documentation alongside your advice and guidance
  • Liaising with employee representatives in respect of early conciliation
  • Assisting your clients to achieve their commercial objectives and highlighting consequences of none, or partial compliance where this might be considered by your client.
  • External client training on occasion
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of your team
  • Build exceptional relationships with your clients so they view you as a trusted advisor for their employment law queries.
  • Identifying and sharing process improvements, and continuous improvement ideas with your team
  • Ensuring team KPI's are continually met
  • Accurately recording your time against each client and keeping up to date client records and communication.
  • Take pride in keeping yourself up to date with in-depth employment law and proactively manage your professional and personal development.


So what experience and qualifications will you need?


  • Either a qualified legal professional (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) or relevant equivalent HR/ER qualification and / or experience.
  • Candidates with more than 2 years’ experience delivering EL & ER advice in other legal or
  • HR settings.
  • A newly qualified legal professional with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a trainee/paralegal.
  • Good technical and up to date knowledge of employment law
  • Team Player
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for delivering an excellent service
