Second Line Support Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line IT Support Analyst to join our clients IT team at their headquarters in Birchwood.
In this role, you will be a key part of their IT support team, focusing on process enhancements, resolving long-standing tickets, and managing desktop and device support.
You will work within a pattern of hours between 8am and 6pm. You will also occasionally need to support another location in the North West, so a driving license is required.
Hybrid working pattern, you'll be able to work at home 2 days per week.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years of experience in a 2nd line support role
- Strong skills in hardware and software troubleshooting
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, especially Office 365 and Azure
- Basic understanding of networking
- Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Preferably ITIL v3 or v4 certification (We can help gain the certification if you don't have it)
- A proactive, self-driven mindset
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks independently
- Proficiency in diagnosing and solving issues quickly
- Microsoft certifications are a plus
