Building on a successful 21 year track record, the Head of Leadership will directly enable the growth, impact and reach of the leadership development practice. The remit is to further build and deploy world-class leadership development that deliver clients strategic priorities, including and not limited to talent advancement and leading change in the context of organisational purpose and the transition towards thriving, equitable future.


Working closely with the LSP Leadership Team, including the MD and Global Head of Partnerships whilst operating with high levels of autonomy, you will have overall accountability for design, a suite of products, programme delivery, and LSP client teams, as well as new business development.


Key accountabilities:

  1. Ownership of all leadership development programme activity, including P&L accountability:
  • Direct responsibility for leading client relationships in key partnerships.
  • Lead key business operations and teams working in the leadership practice. (Overall accountability and responsibility for leading the LSP programme managers as they design and deliver individual client projects).
  • Responsible for identifying and co-creating new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Accountable for project commercials, from pricing, profitability, budgets, and contracts, supported by the MD.
  • Accountable for the design team, and/or providing design solutions yourself when required.
  • Accountable for the quality of delivery, ROI/evaluation aligned to client needs.


2. New Client business development:

  • Identifying and leading on the acquisition of new clients, designing and ensuring successful delivery of bespoke leadership interventions.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Coaching Practice, Head of Global Partnerships, other Consultant Partners in Asia, Europe, US, and the Group CEO on business development opportunities.
  • Delivering agreed revenue and margin targets, in alignment with LSP’s purpose, values, and the ethos of our business.
  • Creating new and relevant solutions to meet the requirements of potential clients and leading on any RFPs.


3. Working closely with the Group CEO, develop the Regenerative Leadership programme offerings, and build new long term client partnerships where these interventions are integral to a client’s net zero and nature positive transition pathway.



4. Assist in recruiting new, and developing the capabilities of, LSP's pool of global Associate Consultant Partners to be able to deliver regenerative leadership programmes.



Mindset, Experience and Key Skills. You:

  • Are in, or have held leadership roles, and know the demands of the role, and what it takes to lead well. You have a humility and presence that role models’ leadership in service of others. Comfortable talking to the CEO and to graduates.
  • Have significant experience of collaborating with senior L&D and Heads of Talent from large and medium sized corporates and the public sector. You understand the pressures faced by L&D, the HRD and the senior executive team.
  • Have a proven track record of business development success, through creating and building long-term relationships, with a strong professional network who trust you and your views and insights.
  • Have an understanding, curiosity and strong desire to evolve a new kind of leadership development approach. One that enables living systems thinking and a regenerative mindset to be adopted by organisational leaders.
  • Are commercially savvy, creating high levels of shared value for the client, LSP and other stakeholders.
  • Need to do what it takes, as a member of a small band of determined and loyal colleagues who have strong professional pride in their work, caring for our clients personal and professional growth, as well as other stakeholders. Are self-motivated, flexible and able to work on your own initiative, with tenacity and perseverance.



Critical Success Factors:

  • Being totally accountable for the client delivery and support teams daily operations.
  • Developing the programme and delivery teams’ capability, especially pertaining to regenerative leadership services.
  • Having a strong story-telling capability that presents leadership, change, and complexity in a clear and compelling way to multiple different audiences.
  • Being able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of learning methodologies, leadership content and learning technologies.
  • A passion and drive to bring about human and ecological regeneration through changing leadership mindsets and actions.
