THE COMPANY:
We are working with an expanding banking Group based in Kent, who provide simple and straightforward day-to-day banking solutions to their specialist customers. They are looking for a Data & GDPR Analyst to join the team.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Data & GDPR Officer with the delivery of their duties, ensuring that the Bank continues to enhance its data privacy programme
- Helping with data subject rights requests
- Investigating and collating information about data incidents
- Embedding a positive data protection culture within the organisation
- Implementing the principles of the UK Data Protection Regulation
- Creating and maintaining data protection procedures
- Supporting the business with data protection enquiries
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of the current UK Data Protection Regulations and how they transpire into the operation of a Bank.
- Understands the data protection regulations, their requirements and the principles that sit at the heart of them.
- Is a self-starter that enjoys working with an array of stakeholders in an ever-changing regulatory landscape.
- Has a keen willingness to learn and develop.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Has an ability to multi-task and prioritise their workload.
